An artist’s perspective of our landscape, country and places

Who likes a trip to the bush? Do you have a favourite view or landscape that takes your breath away? Are there landmarks or places that hold special meaning, connection to country and ancestors, give a sense of place, or evoke fond memories?
This amazing country affects us all deeply in different ways and the landscape has been an incredible source of inspiration for creative people. Whether it is the sheer beauty of the vast views, or the feeling it brings, maybe the familiarity of the landscapes that you call home. Many modalities and styles are utilised by artists to interpret and communicate this effect through their artworks. This exhibition showcases local and Brisbane artists that give us a view of landscapes through their eyes in a medium of their choosing. Feature Artists include Chloe Watego, Fiona Cuthbert-O’Meara, Helen Evans, Jandamarra Cadd & Meg Frances.
